Support for Gaming Hardware The Phanteks NV5 can accommodate a wide range of premium gaming hardware. As a mid-tower case, it supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX motherboards, with additional support for E-ATX motherboards (up to 280mm wide without the included GPU bracket). The GPU clearance allows for graphics cards up to 440mm in length and 170mm in width. It features seven expansion slots and supports vertical mounting (vertical bracket sold separately).
For storage options, you have multiple choices with the Phanteks NV5. The rear compartment includes mounting points for either three 3.5" HDDs or four 2.5" SSDs. Alternatively, this space can accommodate fan controllers and RGB hubs.
Efficient Cooling To maintain optimal temperatures for your gaming PC, the Phanteks NV5 offers support for both air and water-cooling systems. It features eight mounts for 120mm fans across the chassis. The top panel and the area to the right of the motherboard can each hold three fans, while the base and rear have single mounts. The base fan can be used to provide additional cooling for your GPU.
If you prefer water-cooling, you can mount 360mm radiators on the top panel or the right-hand side space. The top panel includes a dedicated space for radiators, offering 63mm clearance for cooling components.
For CPU coolers, there is clearance for towers up to 180mm in height, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of CPU coolers available on the market.
Dedicated PSU Shroud To maintain a clean interior appearance, the Phanteks NV5 features a dedicated PSU shroud with a removable cover. This allows easy access to the PSU chamber, simplifying installation and cable routing. The shroud can accommodate power supplies up to 230mm in length.
Adding a touch of color and flair, the PSU shroud includes integrated DRGB lighting. You can control this lighting without the need for software, using the mode and color buttons on the I/O panel. This interface also provides one USB-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, an audio jack, and the essential power buttons.
